Describe a life lesson that you have learned at Lynchburg College.
“I have learned that it’s okay to be who you really are. You don’t have to pretend here at Lynchburg. People are very accepting and open-minded. I remember I was scared to come to college because I had just come out my senior year of high school and I thought, “Well now I have to come out all over again.” My teammates did not make that a scary thing for me. I’m able to have open and honest conversations with lots of people on this campus and that’s something rare that you don’t find everywhere.”
