Student Activities Fair, Students,

What does the Lynchburg College community mean to you?

“Lynchburg College is like a family farm that has been passed down from one generation to the next. And even though some of the practices have changed over time, the essence remains.

Some students come to us as mere seeds and are challenged and nurtured to grow into plants that will bear fruit after they leave us. We have to trust the process. Others are well on their way to harvest when they arrive and we have the privilege of seeing the produce of their scholarship, leadership and service during their time with us.

It’s all about growth, nurture, and working together. Farming is hard work but it’s essential to the survival of a culture and a community. I love this place. I love these people.”
